About Experience Week

Experience Week is structured as a series of events including workshops, design sprints, new approaches to human-centered design and collaborative problem solving.

Experience Week covers the human and social aspects of solutions to address challenges and opportunities to create inclusive solutions that are more readily accepted, impactful and effective. With the push for education and development in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics), we risk an overemphasis on rational brain activities and approaches. This could lead to the creation of products, services and solutions that ultimately don’t serve society or only partially address a problem.

The Experience Week principles

Empower, enable and educate through inspiring events, experiential learning and immersive workshops, Experience Week will create learning experiences for participants and introduce new approaches, tools and insights for self- or team-development.

Engage audiences around a common theme, to learn from and build with them, Experience Week looks to connect the ecosystem and next generation of businesses, innovators and leaders in Wellington, New Zealand and beyond.

Experience Week looks to promote interaction and action-oriented learning, hands-on, real problem solving on real opportunities or issues in our businesses / cities / regions / country
